"Lots of new (to me) pictures from private collections. Good basic information on many of the more obscure SS divisions from 14 to 38+. My French is abysmal, so it would be a better as French/English like some of Heimdal's older books. Much of the information is usable as is.
The paper is different than what Heimdal has used in the past... not glossy but still prints the pics very well. There is no glare with this paper. The jury's still out on this until I spend some time with the book & see how it holds up to handling."

The jury's still out on this until I spend some time with the book see how it holds up to handling. - Although written in French, this series on the Waffen-SS rank up their with Dr. Trang's series on the Totenkopf and Wiking Divisions. A must have...
- The other reviewers on /U.K. pretty much covered everything.......the poorer quality paper etc......so I will only add this is still a must for the serious collector of waffen ss books.
- Exactly as I expected.
