My son loves hiking. he follows various PCT hikers. He enjoys hanging out with them and has aspirations of doing the PCT in a slack semester when he finishes high school in 2.5 years. He knows many of the areas of the PCT especially those in the Sierras. He has this posted on his closet door and when one of the hikers he is following posts a location that he does not know he finds it on the map. He loves it.
This map is full of information I did not expect to see. In addition to the west coast and the trail-which is clearly marked, an elevation profile runs down the left side and a distance chart is out in the ocean off the south coast. Very nice to look at and dream of hiking this magnificent trail.
Wishing I could see that tiny trail line better, as others have stated. But still enjoy having the big picture.
